Hey! I can relate, wholeheartedly. When I started having tendon problems/tears and major foot pain, I ignored it for way too long. I then ended up in boots for years with multiple surgeries. "The Body Keeps the Score" really helped me try and listen to what my body was telling me. I still have a lot to learn and I, too, just purchased some reading glasses (I've had 20-20 vision all my life until now, as well.) Haha!
In addition, this book was essential in continuing and understanding my journey:
Your Body Speaks Your Mind: Decoding the Emotional, Psychological, and Spiritual Messages That Underlie Illness
It's so important to slow down, listen, and make changes. Some days, I do that better than others. It just shows me that it's essential to continue asking questions and reflecting. This week's topic really resonated with me and was the reminder I needed to stop and listen -- it's been awhile. Thank you!

I can relate to this! Good reminder that when my body is telling me something I should listen to it and not what my mind is telling me😂
